Fun Run!

FEBRUARY 2010. Falcon Let's Run. The first fun run sponsored by my school, Adamson University. Also in timed with the university's Foundation Week. Sobrang saya kasi kasama mo yung mga kaibigan mo. This also my first time to join such activity.

I remember I have to sleep over in my classmate's dormitory since I reside in Laguna and the call time for the activity is 4:00 AM. The night before the fun run, we went to Divisoria, the shopping center of Manila where everything is on sale. :D My classmates and I bought food for our dinner. We shopped for fresh Tilapia and veggies. Ang saya lang kasi nakakatawad ka nang hanggang kalahati sa presyo at sa Divisoria mo lang yun magagawa. After we went home, we cooked everything we bought, and it's a great feeling to be bonding with your friends, eat food we cooked ourselves, enjoying the fruits of our own efforts.

Buhay Estudyante

ANG HIRAP MAGING ESTUDYANTE. Kadalasan kong marinig sa mga kapwa ko estudyante din. Di naman natin maitatanggi yun eh. Parang buong buhay natin, nag-aaral tayo. kung iisipin, parang nakakapagod din. Parang paulit-ulit. Pero gayunpaman, masaya pa rin. Di naman lahat nakakaranas nung mga bagay na nararanasan natin bilang estudyante. MASWERTE TAYO KASI ESTUDYANTE TAYO.



Katulad ng nakikita natin ngayon sa picture, masasabi ko na ganyan na ang mga estudyante ngayon. Kung dati ay bahay-eskwelahan-bahay lang, ngayon ay talagang moderno na. ang mga estudyante ngayon ay "innovative" at "techie" na. Di ko naman inilalayo ang sarili ko sa pagiging ganyan. Nag-iba rin ako, lalo na nung pumasok ako sa college. Kung noon ay sa library pa ko nagreresearch, ngayon, basta may internet ka, sa isang click lang, andyan na yung kailangan mo. Kumbaga, mas pinadali na yung buhay natin bilang mga estudyante.

Bakit nga ba ganito yung takbo ng mga sinasabi ko? Ano nga bang pinupunto ko? Hmm. Isa lamang itong panimula sa mga marami pang kwentong ibabahagi ko bilang estudyante. Tatalakayin ko din yung mga totoong pinagdadaanan ng isang estudyante, maganda man o pangit.

I created this page in my blog to be able to share what I am as a student. my triumphs and struggles, experiences, and my aspirations. this is to show that every student has his own story, that anyone can relate to.

Kaya naman, kung estudyante ka. kahit ano pa man ang estado mo, FEEL KITA, FRIEND. Kasi ang kwento mo, kwento ko rin. :) 

Another Try

SECOND CHANCES. Are all of us deserve to get second chances? Maybe yes, maybe no. But for me, second chances are only given to those who really deserve it. But how will we know if that person deserves that another chance? That's for us to find out.

I will not deny that I have given second chances to people who are not worthy for it. It is heartbreaking, actually. Kasi yung inakala mong magbabago na, hindi pa rin pala. Sometimes, I talk to myself, "Am i being too kind?" "Am I stupid to get fooled over and over again?" But then, a part of me tells me that I was trusting them too much, to the point that people take me for granted. That realization hit me. It hurts but I have to learn from it. And now, i know how to deal with it.



FAITH BRINGS SECOND CHANCES. When I saw this image, I quickly related myself to it. Faith brought him back to me. I knew from the start, we will have our second chance. We just have to wait, and it's definitely worth waiting for. :) Of all the chances I've given to people, sa kanya ko lang naramdaman na tama na mabigyan siya ng pangalawang pagkakataon. Circumstances may have broken our relationship for the first time, but the moment we started talking again, I am sure that our story has not yet ended. We have to give us an another try. A SECOND CHANCE.

Second chances are not bad. Why? It gives you the right to improve yourself. To discover new things about you. To learn from your mistakes, and remember not to do them again. Never be afraid of giving and taking second chances. It's a risk we have to deal with. Hindi man natin alam kung saan tayo dadalhin nito, but I am sure it's worth the try.

So, don't hesitate to give it another try. :) 

Let's Keep the Music Playing ♬♬♬

I would say, my music inclination may be credited to my parents. Both of my parents are good singers. During my childhood, I can still remember, I used to sing in every part of our house. Kahit saan ako abutan ng kagustuhan kong kumanta, mapharap ng salamin, harap ng electric fan, o kahit pa sa loob ng C.R. Wala akong pinipiling oras, pag gusto kong kumanta, kakanta at kakanta pa rin ako. That is how I utilize my talent (Yeah, you heard it right. That's what I call TALENT UTILIZATION. :P)

Anyways, back to the topic. During my elementary days, I became more active with my singing career (hahahahaha. career talaga eh noh?). This is also the time that I started joining singing contests. Oh well, despite of me being mahiyain (ehem. kumo-conyo na naman ako. hahahaha), I was encouraged by those people who appreciate my talent. Also, when I was in Grade 5, I joined the school chorale. In high school, I've been a part also of the choir group.

Ever since I was a kid, I was surrounded by people who are good cooks. Whenever we had family gatherings, the STAR of the celebration will always be the FOOD. No wonder why I have this passion for cooking.

When I was a kid, I watch my dad cook our meals. He's always been my inspiration for cooking. I make sure that when I cook, I COOK WITH HEART. In that way, every dish will be palatable.

Great Start

Every life experience is a story to be told. This is my goal why am I starting this blog. I wanna share every thought I have in mind . I think it's fulfilling when others appreciate you and your stories.

Nakakatuwang isipin na sa bawat pangyayari sa buhay mo, iba't ibang kwento ang nagagawa nito. May masaya, may malungkot, may masakit, may nakakakilig. :) But what's important about these things is the lessons you will get, and how will it change your life.
