ABOUT THE SONG:
We Can't Stop is the lead single of Miley Cyrus' fourth album Bangerz, which was relaesed on June 3, 2013. It is a bold, pop-urban musical approach.
The song, according to Miley, is a representation of the present state of her life. It tackles about having liberty. The song also includes her take on the recreational use of ecstasy.
ABOUT THE SINGER:
After being in the movies, Mile Cyrus had done her comeback in the recording industry as she ended her contract with Hollywood Records and signed anew contract with RCA Records.
Originally, the song is supposed to be for Rihanna, but that changed when producers thought that it would be better if that song would be someone's single, and just perfect timing that it was offered to miley and she accepted it.
MUSIC VIDEO:
The official music video of We Can't Stop was premiered through Vevo on June 19, 2013. But the director's cut version was released on July 29, 2013, where it was more liberated.
COVER VERSIONS:
Many artist have done their own version of We Can't Stop. But what I love the most is the version of the acoustic band, Boyce Avenue. They collaborated with Bea Miller, which made the song different from other cover versions.
MY COVER:
Actually, I was not really a big fan of Miley Cyrus especially when she changed her image. however, I decided to do a cover of We Can't Stop because of Boyce Avenue's influence. I really love acoustic genre, which made me love their version. Eventually, doing my version of it. I used the revised lyrics since the original one is much more vulgar.
