New Beauty Loot: Céleteque® DermoCosmetics — Makeup and Skincare In One Fab Package!
If you know me, you’ll find that I’m always on the hunt
for new beauty bargains. I’m especially fond of beauty and skincare products
that can multitask, because who has the time to go through each step every
single day?
So imagine my glee when I discovered Céleteque®’s
DermoCosmetics — a line of makeup that has skincare benefits, such as
nourishing and anti-aging!
DermoCosmetics covers all the basics of makeup: the
Anti-Aging line has the Dual CC Matte Powder, the Dark Spot Concealer Stick, and
the 24-hr Photoready Foundation; while the Nourishing line has the Eyebrow
Nourishing Serum, the 24-hour Volumizer Mascara, the Cheek Color Stick, the Matte
Lip Stick, and the Blush and Face Contour Kit.
I’m not getting any younger, so what I really wanted to
check out was the Anti-Aging line. I first tried out the Dual CC Matte Powder
(because I’m always a sucker for BB and CC creams) and I absolutely loved the
effect! “CC” stands for “color correcting” and it was exactly what I needed to
even out my complexion and cover up blemishes and my freckles. I didn’t even
need to apply sunscreen before patting on the powder since it already has SPF
30. Plus, it wasn’t greasy at all. I have combo skin, and the powder was able
to keep the oiliness on my T-zone at bay.
The Dual CC Matte Powder (PHP745) comes
in three shades: light, natural, and beige. It’s packed with vitamin E to fight
free radical damage and aging, and collagen peptide to keep my skin firm. To be
honest, this product is my personal fave out of the lot!
If you’re extra OC about covering up your skin
imperfections, use the Dark Spot Concealer Stick(PHP595) before applying the
powder. You can also use it on your eye area to reduce puffiness. Like the
powder, it’s full of antioxidants to nourish, hydrate, and protect your skin
from aging and free radicals. I dabbed a bit of the concealer on my
hard-to-get-rid-of freckles and those darn age spots, blended the powder, and
voila! Smooth, blemish-free skin in an instant!
And don’t worry about the shade of the concealer — it
suits all sorts of skin types, as well as any skin tone. Just make sure to use
your ring finger when smoothing it on your eye area, since that’s the thinnest
part and any unnecessary tugging can cause premature sagging.
These two products are definitely going into my everyday kikay kit. I’ve always liked the brand
since it’s known for its clinically proven and hypo-allergenic products, and
I’m really glad they came up with a cosmetics line that infuses skincare
benefits. The Céleteque® DermoCosmeticsline is truly an awesome beauty
discovery!
